Augustana University Student Eng年龄ment is to connect students with each other and Augustana, and prepare leaders who will have a positive impact in a global society. Augustana Student Eng年龄ment believes:

Students at Augustana University create meaningful learning opportunities through involvement in campus organizations where they learn to serve and lead.

• There are more than 80 recognized student organizations at Augustana, including Union Board of Governors, which hosts free Friday night events.
• By participating in a student organization at Augustana, students will gain valuable leadership experience, as well as build relationships with other leaders on campus and work toward common goals.
• Organizations can relate to professional aspirations, activities of personal interest, service-learning or diversity, 股本 & 包容.

As one of Augustana University's five core values, service is a critical component of the AU experience, and there are many ways to get involved in the community. 

• Service-learning at Augustana University means using time, talent and resources for the sake of the neighbor. It requires active reflection and enhances students’ sense of personal values and civic responsibility.
